Lifa and Aren

Hi guys! Haven't been on here for a while. I hope all of you are doing fine. Well, as you can see, I tried changing my drawing style into something better, however, I'm still having problems with identifying colours (though I'm not colour blind... but I might be...) and halfway through, I completely forgot how to colour. (Not sure how that happened) So yes, that explains the unevenness of the texture. I got lazy colouring the background which explains why it looks crap.

Anyway, I just turned seventeen... yey *insert sarcasm* Honestly, I'm not really happy. I'm not exactly sure if my friends have forgiven me for that stupid thing I've done against them (Dishonesty and all that crap... #teenagedrama ) and yeah, I've been depressed for two weeks. But, well, at least, I feel better now.

So, here're my OC's (again) whose names you've been familiar with. The one at the left, that supposed to be dude there is Aren. Beside him is no other that Lifa.

The story goes like this:

<sub>Lifa is an Igried. An Igried is a fictitious elf race I've created. They are independent and highly educated, (Imagine the Thalmor in Skyrim) and they value the pursuit of knowledge as the most important. Regardless, they aren't exactly the type of elves who are good and caring (unless it's about themselves). The Igrieds kill others outside their country, specifically those people who walked their borders, as a form of offering to their god. Their "god" (king in other words) believed that the remains of the victims can make him immortal. Igrieds are immortal, but since their bloodline was composed of the phoenix's and their elven parents, they tend to grow up, turn into ashes and be reincarnated once more. That's not the type of immortality the High King wanted. (Yes, immortality, how cliched) Igrieds still die once their ashes were completely eliminated and no other essence remained (this is their natural way of dying) aside from sword stabs and poison intake.

Now, to make things short, war happened after a captive of the Igrieds managed to escape and report back to his country. There are five elven races that lived in Jesvar (I invented that name) that coexisted with one another... more or less. The Igrieds, Flaendrs, Estrians, Hreills, and Ciafraidi. The other four made an alliance and conducted a genocide to eliminate the unwanted Igrieds. Some, those thought to be completely useless were given mercy through slavery. One of those useless Igrieds was Lifa's "mother" (not really), Alea who carried the ashes of one of the royal bloods (the King's older sister who turned into ashes a long time ago). The Flaendrs weren't able to destroy the ashes, since they don't exactly know "how." so they had decided to keep it for educational purposes. Lifa, was a branded slave upon birth.

Lore: The ashes of the Igrieds cannot be destroyed by any means. lol

Lifa (not really her real name) grew up without knowing how to read and write (Since Igrieds aren't allowed to read and write because who knows what might happen). She's a fast learner, however, and underwent her education by verbal means.

So yeah, skipping all the blablabla's, Lifa was sent to accompany her lordship (her employer's son) to the Academy (it's magic governed institution). She returned surprised to see that most of the household was sick with influenza. What concerned her the most was her mother. Alea was terribly ill, almost on a dying condition. Lifa wanted to help her (she doesn't know that Igrieds are partly immortal though) but doesn't know what to do. Her former employer, by coincidence, was also sick, and decided to send Lifa to work someplace else since Lifa's the only one who didn't have health problems atm. So, Lifa was sent to work as a "scullery maid" for Lady Ophelia who's definition of "scullery" involved assassination of lords around Jesvar. That was the start of Lifa's assassin-hood.

Aren, in the other hand, was human by birth... or partly human by birth. (He was a half Igried, but no one knew how that happened and I'm too lazy to explain why. Aren doesn't know that though) He was Lady Ophelia's (Lifa's new employer) "coachman" (that also involves killing people and elves...) and was assigned to become Lifa's partner in crime. (Yeah they're both assassins). Since Aren was human, he knew how to read and write, and thus, taught Lifa her literature. It was a secret between the two of them. And blah blah blah

I'm planning to write a novel, but I have no patience for that. So yeah, I'll just end the story here.

Lore: Igrieds have glowing hair and bright-green eyes. They have a glowing tattoo somewhere on their body and are weak against water.

(Lifa accidentally discovered that she can manipulate fire sometime in her assassin years.)
